Feb 11 - Mar 7, 2010 - Drama Proof by David Auburn
Proof
explores the unknowability of love as much as it does the mysteries of
mathematics.
A troubled young woman must deal with her father’s death, the arrival
of her estranged sister and the attentions of a former student of her
father’s.
Although her father was thought to be unstable and to have produced
nothing of worth in his later years, his student hopes to find value in his
notebooks.
Surprises await as our heroine reveals her own mathematical genius.

Apr 1 - Apr 25, 2010 - Musical Guys & Dolls by Jo Swerling & Abe Burrows, Frank Loesser In
this much loved musical “fable of Broadway,” based on the New York of Damon

Guys
and Dolls is one of the greatest successes that the American musical

The songs (“I’ve
Never Been In Love Before”, “If I were a Bell”, “Luck Be a Lady.”)
live forever and romantic images of a bygone
New York breathe again on stage. |

May 20 - June 13, 2010 - Comedy Cactus Flower by Abe Burrows
Toni
Simmons believes that the only reason her married lover won't leave his wife is
because of his children. In truth, her lover, Julian, doesn't have any. In fact,
he doesn't even have a wife - he just tells women he does to avoid getting
involved. When Julian does decide to take the plunge with Toni and insists on
meeting the first wife, Julian enlists the aid of his long-time
nurse/receptionist to play the part.
A delightful comedy with crazy, mixed-up situations. |
